1969 Pontiac GTO

GTO Automatic

Behold the vehicle that started the “American Muscle” craze as we knew it back in the 1960s. Originally launched in 1964, the Pontiac GTO was a marvelous piece of ingenuity. Built as a standalone model between 1966 model year, up to 1972. The GTO then became a trim level to the LeMans model in 1972, and later for the Tempest. The GTO nameplate was later revived in 2004 until 2006 based on the Australia Holden Monaro.

For the 1969 model year, the GTO was made available with the 400cu in. (6.6L) “Big Block V8” making a hefty 350 horsepower. This specific model was built with the Ram Air IV option, boosting up the power output by a healthy 20hp and with 450 lb-ft of torque. This optioned-out engine is equipped with a Quadrajet 4-barrel carburetor, a high-lift/ long-duration camshaft, and a special header-like exhaust system. Therefore giving it a higher power peak compared to its Chevrolet and HEMI engined competitors.

In addition to all the original bits and pieces, this specific example is equipped with a set of premium wheels, and leather Sparco racing seats.

This is your opportunity to get your hands on a well-maintained piece of history!
